It’s at the foot of Edinburgh Castle and is the spot where over 300 woman who were accused of witchcraft were burned at the stake. There is a cast iron fountain plaque memorializing those executed. Next door your will find the Witchery by the Castle. It’s here you can dine in the impressive 16th century building. Taking its name from the innocent women accused of witchcraft on the Castle Hill.
